The welfare brooding cage for laying hens is a three-layer system for raising laying hens, creating conditions for a seamless transition from feeding to laying. The aim is to produce uniform and healthy hens and have a good start during the laying stage, in order to help the hens adapt to the laying hen house system as soon as possible
First, the second floor is the rearing layer for the brooding period, and the third floor is the rest area for the growing period, which caters to the hens’ instinct to find the highest place to rest at night. Each floor is equipped with chain feed lines and drinking water lines
Both sides of the cage are equipped with self-folding perches. Ladders are added between all layers, allowing hens to easily reach each layer during the day.
